Who Are We Kidding?

A group of scientists recently observed one-year-olds repeatedly throwing their toys out of their crib and then crying incessantly about not having them, but once the toy was given back the babies stopped crying, to then repeat the same behavior.   What a strange phenomenon! Why do these one-year-olds continue to throw away the very thing that makes them happy?


What these scientists were able to observe was that subconsciously WE behave in the same way.  We work hard to take get to a certain place (i.e. weight goal, financial goal or achieve a specific milestone, etc.), but then we go back and throw it away and go back to eating junk, frivolous spending or careless behavior that sabotage the thing we worked so hard to get!

Are we doing the same thing in our lives and business? Do we subconsciously believe we don’t deserve to be financially prosperous, in better health and in love?


We scratch our heads and can’t understand why we continue to find ourselves making progress but then losing ground again.


There are a lot of habits that we may not be aware of that are stifling our progress.  I remember there have been plenty of times in my life that I couldn’t remember if I left the stove on, closed the garage door or let the dogs back in before I left to work.  I would turn around go back into the house and without fail, the stove was turned off, the dogs were back in and the garage door was closed.   That’s because I have done these actions so many times that they are hard-wired into my subconscious mind that I am not even aware that I am doing them.


This is the same with our bad habits.  We join the gym, buy the book, sign up for the class, throw away the last cigarette and empty out the snack cabinet to then find ourselves back to the same vicious cycle.  Again and again, year after year AHHHHHH!!!! When does it end?

It ends when we become aware of our thoughts.  We are the only creatures that have the ability to analyze our own thoughts.  We must become conscious of our thinking because they become our words, actions and ultimately the habits that we are trying to break.  Once we become aware of these self-defeating thoughts we can begin to change.


 It’s time to change our Mindset!

YOU DESERVE TO BE LOVED, TO BE SUCCESSFUL, TO BE HEALTHY and finally REMEMBER to: WATCH YOUR THOUGHTS, THEY BECOME YOUR WORDS, WATCH YOUR WORDS, THEY BECOME ACTIONS, WATCH YOUR ACTIONS, THEY BECOME YOUR HABITS, WATCH YOUR HABITS, THEY BECOME YOUR CHARACTER, WATCH YOUR CHARACTER, IT BECOMES YOUR DESTINY
